Nothing wrong with ps3 it is a cheap, simple and cheerful way of playing good quality videogames, some of which are only available on console. The only drawback consoles have compared with PCs is that they generally don'r have dedicated servers. Oh wait. IW decided to make MW2 for PC run on a player-hosted system just like the inferior consoles you talk about. OMG it is practically a straight port from the console game. Fuck my old boots they really are taking us discerning gamers for a ride now aren't they. Dishing out the same second rate twaddle the console gamers have to "put up with" to hard-core, long time PC gamers.

The days of games beiong better on the PC are coming to an end. The golden age od PC gaming is well over. It won't be long until PC and home games console are the same thing. The only stand alone consoles you will be able to get in 20 year's time will be hand held and even those will have phones, GPS, holographic projectors and fricken laser beams on them.

I dont haev any issues with any of the rest of the PS3 or xbox experience OTHER THAN THE CONTROLS.... the hand held controller is fooking pants for fps...end of. It can do most other games (except strategy where you need to pop in a mouse) jsut fine, but FPS is SHOCKING.

for casual run and gun action it's actually better i find. there is far less control, yes. Everyone has the same though so it's not unfair. for competitive and serious games i wouldn't use anything other than trusty KB and mouse. MW2 is not a serious game though. It's a commercial, overweight pig of a game designed to be one size fits all and thus fails at being spectacular. It's a game made for consoles that happens to be on PC too. the lag and the hit boxes are so poor that i doubt a mouse would afford anywhere near as great a benefit than with CSS.

You do realise that there is no auto aim on the PS3 and that what you are playing is actually a second rate PORT of a game designed for consoles? I'm not a fanboy. I barely use my PS3 and agree wholeheartedly that the PC is the dominant gaming platform. It won't be for long though. Y'know, given that all the money is the pockets of the controler-wielding noobs/kids. Plenty more ports to come.

We shall see how medal of honours version of mw stacks up eh?

In fairness Bad Company 2 beats MW2 hands down so much better harder and you can have fun. Not always one sided either!
